Aamad is a collaborative dance work choreographed by @englishnationalballet Associate Artist, Kirsten Ho @dancekho and @akademidance Associate Artist, Parbati Chaudhury @parbaticdance This captivating ensemble work was inspired by artist @ranabegumstudio sculptural installation, No. 1104 Catching Colour, curated by The Line at London City Island. Aamad is a creative response that brings together kathak, ballet and contemporary dance, and celebrates culture, community and contrast. With live music composed by flautist Praveen Prathapan @the_flute_guy Aamad presents an offering of emotive moments of reflection, ritual and release.
