When Jamey gave me the demo in Josh Trustkills basement I think I listenered to it 10 times in a row on the drive back to Buffalo saying to myself” how is it even possible to hit this fucking hard ?” A year later Despair did a long summer tour with them as I watched them start to take over the world with a vicious live show and unapologetic attitude to back up their words . Towards the end of those dates they signed to Victory and all the pieces were in place for what was to come. Love these people and the music they have made and appreciate how they always looked out for my bands and HC. When they were recording Satisfaction Jamey asked me to come and sing on “Mark My Word “ I couldn’t bring myself to get on a bus to NJ. Major life regret. How does Connecticut always do it right ?
