Darby is a Survivor of the Dog Meat Trade who was rescued by @hsiglobal ✨ ✨ Darby was rescued from a dog near farm where he awaited a cruel fate. The moment Tracey laid her eyes on his dad eyes, she knew they were meant together. He was really nervous when he first arrived home. Hiding under a bed, avoiding humans at all cost. ✨ Today, he is curious and affectionate with all people! Darby is a happy boy who loves toys and makes happy dances when it’s time for his walk. ✨ Darby is wearing a custom-made neck piece I created specially for this project. It was really fun to explore the dog collar as more of a sculptural piece. ✨ 80% of South Koreans say they’ve never tried dog meat and never will. The First Lady recently called for a legislative ban. There is a huge, strong movement to end the practice once and for all in SK. These images are meant to help push for the ban, by showcasing these dogs as the soulful, perfect companions they are ✨😍 #dogmeatsurvivor #enddogmeat
