This is the end of an era for sure. When it was announced that Alessandro Michele was leaving Gucci my head spun. I remember the first mens collection that was so shocking in its departure from Jet Set Chic to a kind of intellectual, romantic, misfit and I remember telling my team “you may not like it, but it means something.” There are so many memories, shoots, destinations that filled my soul. It was @alliegrandjean who asked me over breakfast if I wanted to shoot the collection at Westminster Abbey for @modernluxury and I jumped at it. Thus the “brand story” was born. I also remember us running out and buying the mules known as the Princeton. I treasure my times with Allie and @margoschneier and all of the Cacio Pepe consumed.
