Just pack along your own @gsioutdoors #reusable water bottle, utensils and bags — so that you don't #dump your problems onto the beautiful places & people that you came to visit — as illustrated by this #burning trash dump in a mangrove forest that we came across the last time we traveled to Indonesia. *Note - most of the burning trash we saw in this landfill , could be traced back to single-use plastic food items (cups, bottles, utensils, bags, straws, etc.) that were sold to visiting tourists. So even if there is a trash can for you to throw something "away" — keep in mind that #away might just be the other side of the island, where the true locals live 🤙🏾 Waste management infrastructure is typically very limited ( or nonexistent ) in many of the places where we have our @sea.trees restoration projects — and we know first-hand the negative impact that our visit will leave on the places we are working to restore — if we don't do our part to not leave a plastic-footprint behind 👣 ~~~ #PlasticFreeJuly
