If you don’t reflect on your birthday did it even happen? Of course it did, but I guess as we get older i’m doing a lot more reflecting on my birthday than I did when I was 25 years old. I know social media can be a very light and fluffy place and listen, That’s why I love doing my make up and outfit videos because we need to have a balance. We need to have a little bit of light and airy to balance out a lot of substance. as we age we are craving more substance I know I am. And I’ve always used my social media channels as a way to inspire women, whether it’s to, live with purpose or to live in style. Now I am not dissing anybody who chooses not to share substance because I think that everybody’s social media channel is their form of creativity and I am not going to diss anybody, but I will be sharing some heavier thoughts and things as I age. Simply because that is who I am, and I will be sharing more of that. Specifically regarding this reel, I think it’s important to note that my 45th birthday was absolutely amazing and I am so thankful to my husband @adampotashapproach for making my day even extra special. Anyhoo, I started my day making lunches, working out, met my mom, had a massage, then Adam threw a party for me. How interesting it is that almost NONE of the same people were at this birthday party compared to my 40th... It is so true what they say about friends. They are there for a reason or a season. I’m just so thankful for the ones who accept me and my husband for our life now. And for all of you, who watched me lose my first husband to cancer, then accepted my new life and marriage.
