Stills from - America Is An Idea - a series of short docs telling stories of immigrants working as Lyft drivers in the US. I don’t usually write much on here about the projects I work on, but this one was very special - not only for the stories we were documenting, but also because all the crew members were immigrants as well. Sometimes all it takes is a crew of 4, thank you to Haya Wasseem for her beautiful vision and delicate approach, thank you to Veronica Leon for never saying no and driving across the border in Juarez at dawn so that we could shoot the sunrise over the wall.
