I have learned and continue to learn to love my shadows as much as my light. 2. What’s meant for me is already mine and will appear in divine time. 3. Hangovers hit way harder now. And if you see me on stage playin the bongo off beat to TLC, I am on the precipice of blacking out. 4. I do not chase, I attract. To chase implies I am after something I lack within. To attract indicates I have realized it already within myself and allow my vibrational energy to act as a magnet for which I desire. 5. Crispy brussel sprouts are fire. 6. I am the villain in some people’s stories and a hero in others. As the main character of my life movie, my character arc is messy and eternal. 7. How to make chicken veggie lumpia like mom does:) 8. Water is soft enough to take any shape, yet with persistence can carve out canyons. Be like water - soft enough to go with the flow and persistent enough to carve my own path. 9. Real, unconditional self-love is more than face masks and bath bombs. It’s being my own best friend and hyping myself up when I get imposter syndrome. Feeling every emotion, learning to express them in healthy ways and forgiving myself when I don’t. It’s seeing beauty in my bloating, white hairs and wrinkles, embracing my body as I size up my clothes. It’s learning to say “no” and be intentional with my “yes”. It’s knowing that by preserving my peace and protecting my energy first, I will be a better human for others around me. 10. I am on my own timeline. Fuck sticking to a plan because it’s safe or it’s what I was taught or to please others. Fuck comparing my life and where I’m at to others. I choose what I love, what brings me joy, what pushes me out of my comfort zone, and by doing so I have created and continue to manifest a life blessed beyond what I could ever imagine - literally chillin in our beautiful villa in Bali watching water spiders swim while listening to the idyllic orchestra of rain, roosters, and cicadas.
