A small, rare personal story i felt worth sharing: I pulled into the SHR building yesterday, and for the first time ever, there were no parking spots left for me to park in. It caught me by surprise, and a little off guard - so I sat there for a few moments looking at all of the occupied spots, wondering where i fit. (yes, I know it’s not a giant parking lot). This is a moment you don’t see on TV, a moment that 95% of folks could care less about or relate to, and a moment that comes with the pride only equally matched with the weight of taking care of every one of these cars & the car’s families. This company started with 1 employee, and for a decent amount of time, lived with 1.5 (Sorry Conner) to 2 employees at most. It’s hard to notice progress in the moment, as racing is one of the most demanding, unforgiving, and hardest things I’ve ever signed up to be a part of. You have to be comfortable living with your back against the wall, and learn how to thrive in it. Many have doubted this venture (ill never blame them) but by the grace of god- my faith and this company continues to bring me together with some of the best human beings I’ve ever known and loved. My entire life i saw a parking lot as only asphalt or concrete. I’ve learned they represent the true X factor to any venture. The human element. For me, it is the reason I keep pushing with @team_shr26 and why I’ll never regret seeing this thing through. I am beyond blessed to not fit into my parking lot. (We are going to need a bigger parking lot)
