It’s been a while since a regular selfie ~ documenting fresh feelings, shapeshifting into familiar yet new rhythms with the season change 🍂 On the day I took this photo I had my hair cut by someone other than myself for the first time in years, I marked the Autumn Equinox at a ritual dinner with loved ones, I saw my curls begin to revive after I thought they had died, I wrapped myself in moments of stillness and surrender and grounding and nourishment. I shared parts of my story in spaces both intimate and open, I felt lighter for shedding some of the old, I held emotions of life and death in the same breath, I let myself be present in my body with its highs and lows of pain and energy, I gave myself to vulnerability and sunk into softness. Blue blue blue like the sea, the sky, the colour of sadness and of serenity, and of our planet from far far away 💙 Coming out of a slight hibernation with a slow coming back into myself.
