🎉It’s not every day that Sourcebooks hosts a red-carpet book launch party, but on Saturday night in West Hollywood, California, we did! Once Upon a Time in Black Hollywood was a celebration of the 10-year project by visionary photographer @carellaugustus_ that has culminated into the book BLACK HOLLYWOOD: REIMAGINING ICONIC MOVIE MOMENTS, available anywhere books are sold. 300+ people (including the legendary Marla Gibbs!) joined us at Quixote Studios for an evening of food, drinks, entertainment, and a (2+ hour!) book signing. We partnered with Malik Books to sell additional copies of this gorgeous book, and are so incredibly excited for Carell - and everyone featured in this book - on this achievement.
