In a couple of weeks my next Ep “Halls Of Perception” drops on Vienna’s @trust.label. This is a special one for me as it was the first time out of all my releases I reached out to a label with demos. The demos consisted of tracks that had been born out of inspiration from listening so deeply to the sound of Trust over the last years, so I was over the moon when Georg (@gl03_) was happy to take some for the label. I’d heard good things about Georg from mutual friends so I had faith (Trust 😉) my music was going to be in good hands. Upon arrival in Berlin we got a few chances to catch up talk and about music, one time hanging out in the studio of Epy with some friends of the label and another when he came to see me play some of the tracks from the release live on the Tempest in Globus at @tresorberlin in which we both along with Daniel Lodig from DL/MS got a bit carried away and stuck in the club a little bit too late... I took a chance working with someone I’ve never met before but I can already tell this is the beginning of a great partnership and friendship and it is an absolute honour to be part of in my opinion of the greatest modern electro labels of all time. The labels sound has been on point from 1998 to 2022 without changing its direction... a real testament to electro purism. I’m blessed to be sharing the roster alongside some of my favourite artists such as Microthol, Dj Stingray, Versalife, VC-118a, Clatterbox to name Just a few! If you’re into this release I highly recommend a deep dive through the labels back catalogue there you will find too many gems to name. Jet lag taking full effect.
