If your looking for an easy long weekend away with your kids to get out of the cold you should definitely consider heading to @visit_bradenton . We flew right out of New Haven with @aveloair and the flight was under 3 hours. We loved our itinerary and I will share the first half here (Pt. 2 to come!). Feel free to save this post so you can steal it and make your trip planning a breeze! Day 1: Flew into Bradenton/sarasota airport, rented a car and drove 20 min to downtown Bradenton. Stayed at @springhillsuites and had dinner on their rooftop bar @oakandstonerestaurants . They have a tap wall with over 50 varieties to sample and you pay by the oz (pizza is also amazing!) Day 2: Had coffee and breakfast at @Kefistreetsidecafe. They have the best overnight oats, craft coffee and super cute Mediterranean vibe. Then we headed to @realizebradenton river walk for a nice stroll while I finished my coffee and the girls played at the park for a bit. Then we went to @BishopscienceFL museum. The girls played in their indoor tree house, we watched a show show in their planetarium, and visited the manatees at their rehab facility. Then we headed to @mattisons_ for a yummy lunch. Then we headed to Anna Maria Island to check into our beach house with @onceuponabeachami . Our golf cart was waiting for us and we unpacked and settled in before heading to @thebeachhouseami for a delicious diner right on the water!
