Timing is everything...it truly is and I'm respecting it way more. Cus the universe plans are definite and ours are hopeful. Back in 2019, I saw how much @heatherlowery was tearing up the live events scene with all these fire R&B shows. She had a special concentration in R&B soloists and groups, and women in particular. Seeing that and knowing she wasn't new to the market, I figured she'd only blow up more. Early 2020, pre-pandemic, I hit her about bringing her upcoming Femme It Forward R&B All Female show tour to VIBE for a cover. We set it up, get to L.A. and shoot her with @thelilmoshow, @deborahcox @teedramoses @4everbrooke and a few others...long story short, that shoot never came out. I wish we had it to share (that group shot is the only one I have from that day). But look at the timing of things where @vibemagazine and @shemedia can collab and honor that vision I had years ago.
