Today is the launch of our latest project, PROTEST GEAR: Scarves! This is the first in an ongoing collaborative platform exploring the concept of protest garments for use in and out of direct action. Link in Bio This first edition brings together 8 artists who have all created their own version of a Protest Scarf. Recognising the signals of football crowds and the language and uniform of football garments, this project takes inspiration from football fandom. A scarf signifies what team a football fan supports. These scarves signify the side of social issues these artists are on. Alongside these art pieces, we have collaborated with @ecoknitware and @kniterate to produce two fundraising scarves on a strictly made-to-order basis, with 23% of the sale price going to Client Earth. The made-to-order scarves are produced with fully traceable and sustainable yarns. A huge thank you to everyone who has given their time to this project!
