Last summer, we had the surreal opportunity of shooting a feature documentary/concert film for Depeche Mode. Not only did @pasqualgutierrez and myself have the honor of co-directing a film alongside Anton Corbijn, but we also got to travel across the world while doing it. It was a dream from start to finish. This Thursday, that film will be premiering in thousands of theaters, spread out over 54 countries. You can watch the extended trailer cut in my bio. The film highlights six different fans from around the world and their unique connection to the band. Indra in Mongolia, Liz in LA, Dicken in Colombia, Carine in France, Cristian in Romania, and Daniel in Germany. Getting to know each one of them throughout this process was an emotional experience, and I’m so happy to see that their stories will live on the big screen. It took so many people to make this film happen, I can’t possibly fit all their names here.
