To understand and appreciate Pietra Marina from @benantiwinery you must first experience what it is like to walk between the century old Carricante vines on the eastern slope of Mt. Etna. The Contrada Rinazzo (contrada is the Italian way of saying “Clos”) has its own micro-climate 800M above the Ionian Sea which changed 3 times during the hour and a half we spent in the vineyard.
