Most hydrating serums *just hydrate* without all the other nourishing, barrier strengthening, and well-aging ingredients. This is a thick, creamy hydrating serum vs watery, which is my preference, and it instantly makes the skin look plump and glowy. Barrier Restore Cream aka The BRC* - glycerin, shea butter, allantoin, bisabolol, squalane, niacinamide, açaí, acetyl tetrapeptide-2, teprenone— combined they hydrate, nourish, calm, soothe, even skin tone, and protect the skin while fortifying the skin barrier. This has a unique lightweight texture that allows you to use it AM + PM, but if dryer you’ll want to layer something heavier over it at night (that’s what Hailey does, but can’t wait to see if they launch a night cream or sleeping mask). This is incredible for my combo skin, and I love that it’s in a tube and so easy to travel with. I can’t stop reaching for it. $29/1.7oz Peptide Lip Treatment* - launched in three flavors- unscented, salted caramel, and watermelon slice - this contains shea butter, cupuacu, babassu and palmitate tripeptide- I. This is thick and lush, so it doesn’t slip and move around, but provides long-lasting hydration even hours after its worn off. My lips look smoother, plumper and healthier. Watermelon slice is the best flavor, hands down— if you’re a watermelon gworl. I can’t get enough of this, and have reached for it nonstop. $16/.3oz These three together, with a SPF on top are the PERFECT makeup prep too. Everything is fragrance + essential oil-free. Overall, I think this was a solid start to basics that *make sense* and perfect for Hailey’s target audience in both price and practicality. I can’t wait to see what else the brand launches.
