I have been posting photos of our beloved, superstar Darius on my IG stories and hesitating to post on my feed. I told myself once I post on my feed, it’s real. Oh brother Darius, I love you so much. You are everyone’s cheerleader! You show up for everybody! And love on all of us!I love our hugs and that “you know we gotta talk” look we give each other, then we start giggling. I was reading over our text messages and we said “we need to catch up.”💔 I will always remember when Darius and @iamjaystaten taught me, (this singer that moves well,) how to do Chainé Turns when we were in Superfly. Bill T. Jones, yelled “Darius, Go do something with her!”🤣. So Darius tied my legs together above my knees and that was the beginning of my turns and our forever bond. For years when we would see each other, I would greet him with a Chainé Turn and then we would fall out laughing. ❤️ The last time I saw you, we hugged tight, laughed, We talked about having big vision and executing it all. We then shared our visions with one another. I actually told you a big vision about myself and you told me a big vision about you. We laughed and said “Okay, we gotta talk!” So, our messages a few weeks ago were to schedule our “big vision” talk. I’m still processing, in disbelief, heartbroken and sad. I keep thinking about your big visions you shared with me and you were doing it! You are the truth Darius! A SUPERSTAR & KING my friend. A DANCER, ACTOR, SINGER, CHOREOGRAPHER, DIRECTOR, LEADER, TEACHER, CREATIVE, the list goes on! I’m sending love and hugs to your Mom, Sisters and family. And, I will always work on my Chané turns, I’m going after all the goals and visions we talked about, I’ll check on @sirroberttakespics and @brittneyngriffin for you, and we’ll have our “Big Vision” catch up in my dreams. Thank you Darius for always listening, dreaming, striving, twirling, executing and loving us all. I love you brother! I love you my friend!❤️
