Words cannot even begin to express how grateful I am. I can only hope to continue the legacy of the previous recipients’ dedication and service to UAB, while working with alumni to foster a more inclusive and active relationship between them and students. 🫶🏽 To @samanvi_04 , LET’S GET TO WORK DUDE! I am so proud of you and absolutely thrilled to have you as my partner for this upcoming year. 😊 We started out together in @uab_freshmanforum , where we learned how to be effective leaders on campus and represent our freshman class. Safe to say we’re going to be representing a lot more people going forward, but I can’t wait to see how much we do! To @samirabouhaidar_ and @isabel_blevins , congratulations on being 1st alternates! This well-deserved recognition is completely because of how passionate y’all are on campus, and I am eager to see what this year has in store for us! 🔥 To the rest of the Top 🔟, it was such a pleasure to share this past week with y’all and to walk on the field together. The competition this year was extremely tough, which just goes to show how impressive, inspiring, and talented y’all are. So many laughs and memories were shared, and I wouldn’t have wanted it any other way. I can’t wait to see what else y’all accomplish in the future! To all of my friends, family, and faculty, the journey to Mr. UAB would not have been possible without your enthusiastic encouragement. You guys invested so much time and effort into my success and made me realize how much I can do with the right mindset - one that is humble, selfless, and driven.
