Wow. This year feels like it’s been five years. The last 6 months have been some of the hardest ones of my life so far, but I am still here doing my best. I am bringing up two children whilst running two businesses and alongside that I have tried to be true to myself but with that has come with a lot of heart break. The thing is, once you are honest about who you are and you stop apologising for being all the things people will judge you for being, you are given a sense of freedom and are able to breathe a little deeper.. but then there comes incredible judgment and anxiety because you go against what society wants you to be. Many times this year I have felt broken. I have wondered why people can’t see their beauty like I can. I have wondered why people want this ridiculous thing called perfection. I have wondered why people think I am a super woman when I am just a human being. You may have noticed I haven’t been as present on my social media the last few months and that’s because I have literally just been trying to survive. If anyone is struggling then I feel you, I am too. With my weakness comes strength and what doesn’t kill me only makes me stronger. Thank you to all the incredible photographers and clients who have supported and appreciated me. I am truly grateful for my amazing friends and family who have stood by me through everything. Thank you to my beautiful children who have taught me how to love. You are all so special to me.
