It’s been over a week since I left the playa and returned to the default world and my withdrawals are still so intense. I finally finished cleaning up my bike, car and tent and put nearly everything away. Playa dust was EVERYWHERE. This photo was taken my first day on the playa. Bike still looks put together and cute, my hair was still neatly braided, I was relatively fresh and well rested. Not for long! By the end of the week my umbrella broke off, the star in the back had ripped off and became playa “moop”, and my hair had to be set free since half of it was already sticking out every which way from constantly getting caught in the zippers of my tent.
