Real Talk: When I started doing Lip Blush, I was frightened and unsure if this service was going to be great for my clients. Was I going to be able to provide the service perfectly? It took 4 whole years for this service to become popular in my books from when I started in 2016, it was a typical cosmetic tattoo procedure but not one that was in demand. Fast forward, Covid has made this procedure more popular than ever. Over all these years, I’ve excelled in my skill and able to feel extremely proud of my work. Proud of who I am in this beautiful Permanent Makeup Community. There were MANY times I wanted to give up and walk away from this industry. Felt it was SOO HARD and was overwhelmed because I felt stressed. Now, I realize my calling was to take my time to get to where I am because God definitely knew I wasn’t able to handle the stress back then and now knows, I am stronger and capable of conquering anything that comes my way. Don’t give up, it took me some time to get to where I am. Sometimes when we feel we want to give up, just know when your time is next - you will be granted that sign and when it comes, you will feel sooo happy you never gave up. Become more confident, create more self awareness of positive reinforcement of discourse.
