There are 3 aspects to a new install that I focus on to guarantee believable hair extensions: 1) Color matching. I always make sure to choose wefts shades that will blend with your natural hair as well as custom color those wefts to work with the dimension needed. One of the biggest mistakes I see is solid blonde wefts on natural hair that is not solid blonde. 2) Choosing the correct number of rows. Every single guest that sits in my chair needs a different number of rows for a different reading. This guest is wearing 2.5 rows to add fullness and length as well as blend her shorter layers into her length. Not having the correct number of rows to balance out density will leave you with fake looking hair extensions. 3) The cut. Taking the time to cut and customize a guests hair extensions to blend seamlessly with their natural hair is SO important. Sure, you may have a good color blend. But if you do not layer, face frame, and texturize her hair extensions... they will NOT look natural.
