As their mates become their confidantes, you can feel like an inconvenience to their fun, and your sole purpose feels like feeding and funding 😂 Sure, teenagehood is another beautiful phase to witness (albeit from the ‘cheap seats’) your children become the people you’ve raised, to manifest all those mini life lessons and hopefully be well rounded, decent and content human beings.
