I’ve been a huge @violette_fr fan way before she launched her own brand, and I always *knew* she’d make the skincare prep of my dreams. Boum-Boum Milk*- a milky mist that is essentially an essence. It reminds me in feel of the Laneige on my skin. It’s very hydrating, calming, soothing + nourishing. The mister is a hair strong for my taste so I like to spray into my hands to pat into my skin. C’est La Cream* - I was shocked at how lightweight this is. Every time I see the word barrier cream, I think it’s going to be rich (like similar to Embryolisse which is a cult fav French barrier cream), but I’m glad this one is not! It’s lightweight and milky, but surprisingly nourishing for its weight. It has a perfect finish for wearing alone or under makeup— satin-glowy, but not dewy— so I think a lot of skin types will like this one. Overall, I love that she jam packed so many ingredients into two products. But not surprised because the French are notoriously minimalist. Since the two products both have so many antioxidants and the cream has a solid vitamin C derivative, finish with an SPF and you’re done!
