My son, you are two years old. I can’t quite figure out how this happened ... I blinked and poof. Your gurgles turned into whole sentences ( some rather profound). Your gummy smile became a handsome , toothy grin. Your wobbly gait turned into a confident stride. You’re wise beyond your years , my brave old soul with a laugh so contagious you can crack the grim exterior of the most sour of persons- now that’s quite a superpower. You have been my life’s greatest adventure , but your great adventures are all yet ahead of you.
