One Block Down "Global Neighborhood” x Nike Air Max 97 OG "Silver Bullet." Initially released in 1997, the Nike Air Max 97 shocked the sneaker community with a solid and aggressive aesthetic and futuristic design that made it instantly famous among the underground subcultures of the time. In Italy, more than anywhere else, as well as in the rest of Europe, thanks to the success in underground communities, the 97 got a cultural relevancy unmatchable by any other sneaker. One Block Down, to celebrate the release of the iconic the Nike Air Max 97 "Silver Bullet" and its 25th anniversary, decided to present the various groups that adopted this shoe through contemporary content shot by its European community to tell the history of this shoe with a lens on the present and future. For the first chapter of this journey, One Block Down worked with emerging Milanese photographers @fotacce and @analog_elvis to show how young communities are adopting this silhouette and building on its past values, giving it a new meaning. #nike #airmax97 #am97
