have you tried dry brushing? ✨ we love our maguey dry brushes, available in two sizes for body and one for face! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Maguey is the local word for agave in Mexico where these brushes are made. Agave plants are pretty incredible as they require little water, are fire resistant, and give off more oxygen than trees. They live 15-30 years and only bloom once— after they bloom, their life cycle ends! Once the giant leaves are harvested, the fibrous inside is washed, dried, and brushed over a biznaga cactus like a rake. It’s then cut and hand fashioned into the pine wood base 🌵 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Dry brushing is fantastic for both exfoliation of the skin and stimulating circulation throughout the body. Move the brush in circular motions, away from the heart and towards the lymph nodes, with light pressure. It’s especially nice and invigorating to do in the morning! ⛅️ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ These brushes are only intended to be used dry. Getting the bristles wet can flatten the bristles and could cause them to fall out. The pine wood is untreated, so if used it water, it could crack or warp 💧 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ process photos courtesy of the @hecho_shop team
