I haven’t posted so much yet on this year’s Ghana Pavilion at the @labiennale in Venice, as there were so many challenges, the biggest of which was finding out there would be no funding shortly before works were to be shipped etc. We had to either cancel or fundraise & so I started knocking on doors & thankfully got funding & support from amazing individuals in Ghana like Odile Tevie, Keli Gadzekpo, Wontumi & others, but the biggest input at the most needed time came from @nonfungiblelabs in New Zealand! They’ve now started the Futureverse Foundation whose aim is to build more diverse, equitable & inclusive spaces. They created possibility for us & I hope I’ll be able to connect more people with them. Thank you @ekuayankah. Thank you @grantalexandra. Thank you @huntforthebuilderpeople_ & everyone else who supported to make it happen. We still have some way to go & more funding to raise. Not everything is yet installed & not everyone is yet paid, but we are almost almost there & I can’t wait to share the narratives & images of the last months once we are ✨#ghanainvenice #futurebuilders
