big plates of pasta with giant clams for the white lotus finale tomorrow • who else is watching? here’s what you’ll need: + 3 tbsp olive oil + 2 shallots, chopped + 5 garlic cloves, minced + 1 tbsp red chili flakes + 1 can of clams + 1.5 cups white wine + 1-2 lbs frozen whole clams with shells + 3-4 tbsp butter + chopped parsley + 1 lemon, whole & juice + one package pasta, super salted water here’s what I did: 1. sauté shallots and garlic in olive oil, add red chili flakes 2. once softened, add can of clams with juices 3. bring to higher heat and add wine 4. reduce 4-7 minutes, here’s a good time to drop your pasta 5. at medium low heat, add whole clams and cover for 6 minutes or until opened 6. add pasta directly from pot, butter, lemons, and parsley 7. enjoy with a spritz! #spaghetticlams #themeddinner #whitelotusseason2 #clamsrecipe
