@necessaire The Sunscreen Mineral SPF 30 | Review + Try On Cost per oz: $35/1.7oz or $20.58/oz Chemical, Mineral or Hybrid: Mineral Filters: 20% Zinc Oxide Cruelty free: Yes Dry down finish: Dewy Around eyes: No irritation Skin type: Normal to dry Layers with makeup: Debatable Fragrance, EO’s, fragrant extracts: No Alcohol denat.: No Silicone: No Water Resistance: No Other ingredients: Niacinamide, Panthenol, Algae extract, Bisabolol Overall thoughts: before I saw other reviews I had *major* hopes that this would be a beautiful innovative formula like summer Fridays or live tinted but...I’m really sad because the ingredient list is lovely. It takes way too long to rub in, and even after 2-3 minutes, I could still see streaks and areas it never absorbed but I felt like if I kept fussing with it, it would pill. My neck pills really badly with this one. It feels heavy on the skin, and it’s not one I’d reach for— and reapplying it over itself is a no go. Also, it left me a little white cast (not super noticeable with my lighting), and I’m fair-light in skin tone, so it’s going to be quite casty on a lot of folks. I did find it pretty hydrating but I still think if you’re super dry this might not be hydrating enough. If you’re fair or wear makeup to cover the cast, you prefer mineral SPF, are normal to dry skin and don’t mind a dewy vibe you could like this one. Questions? Have you tried this one?
