With all the challenges each and everyone of us has there is this ability to overcome, to continue on, and to flourish. • Any time you hike on the Ko'olaus it can be super challenging physically and mentally. But in the end you're on top of this mountain range that itself has and is standing the test of time...and you look down into the valley towards the ocean and there's a sense of resetting your mind or being reminded that you and they were created to be resilient. Whether up a ridge or in front of a waterfall in a valley there's this way being in places and spaces bigger than you that leave you in awe and heartend, sorry I'm making up my own words here but I hope you get what I mean. • If I had to encourage visitors who come to Hawaii of anything... and maybe this might come off hypocritical given my IG feed is a lot of pictures of me hiking...but it would be to come not for the iconic shots where you just rush through a hike to get the ideal picture and then rush off to the next thing.
