Twenty-one years have passed since I stood on the roof of Tisch at NYU on 8th Street with my classmates of only two days and watched the unimaginable happening in front of us. The rawness has dulled a bit as the years have passed, but every now and then a moment, a word, a color from that day pierces my consciousness as if it were yesterday.
