My (professional) opinion on bridesmaids beauty 👇🏻 Okay, let me tell you some insider secrets to ensure all your bridesmaids look amazing and “cohesive” on your wedding day and of course in the pictures 😉 The bride generally has control over how they want their bridesmaids to look - more glam, natural, lip colours, lashes / not, etc BUT we also need to consider their features. E.g bride wants everyone to have wing liner and the same lashes but one of the bridesmaids has hooded eyes - this will NOT work, bridesmaid would probably feel awful with the makeup work, bride probably won’t be too happy and MUA probably gets a heart attack 🤣 So, best is for bride to choose the colour palette (warm eyes, cool bronze, gold tones, peach tones?), the lip colour, and the “glamness” level they want it to be and leave everything else to the makeup artist to decide what’s best suited for each bridesmaids. I also like to ask each bridesmaids how they generally like their makeup to be. Some of them may DESPISE the look and feeling of a lipstick and prefer gloss, so then I hear what they want and need. This way bridesmaids will leave my chair feeling happy and confident 😝 In these pictures, all the bridesmaids are wearing same colour eyeshadow with different techniques to best suit their eye shape and enhance them. Most of them have individual lashes PERSONALISED to their set of eyes and most of them have the same lippie colour, some has gloss, some has different colours.
