I love being the house that entertains. Whether it’s throwing a party for my boys and their closest pals or getting my mom friends together for an evening of laughter and libations, the Breegan house is always a welcome spot for those I love. We often find ourselves gathered around the kitchen. It’s one of the reasons why I design with layout in mind. It’s important to have each zone arranged in such a way that they “talk” to one another. This way, the cook never misses out on the action, the guests have easy access to grazing boards, and everyone is able to participate in conversations.
