I recently reunited with my #CanonPowerShotG7x camera which was long forgotten amongst a box full of stuff I brought from Japan in 2012. The last photo on the memory card was from my work trip to Paris in 2012. I remember I stopped using this camera soon after this trip with the rise of high quality iPhone lens. It’s ironic to think that I crave the rawness in photos in 2021 rather than phone cameras that can now capture things that even human eyes are not capable of. Model/ Photog/ Edit @RiRiaOfficial 年末の掃除もどきをしていた時、ずっと忘れていた箱の中に渡米当時日本から持ってきたキャノンのカメラを発見。メモリーカード最後の写真は、2012年パリへゲスト演奏しに行った時のもの。この後すぐiPhoneのカメラの性能が良くなってきて、キャノンのカメラの存在が薄れていったんだけれども。8年後の今、人間の目をも超えたiPhoneの3つ目レンズより、ちょっとガサガサっとしたキャノンで撮った生っぽい質感の写真の方が好きなのは皮肉だなぁ。
