#Ian Update: State & federal search and rescue operations continue in Florida, South Carolina & North Carolina. Disaster Assistance Teams are working to help survivors register for assistance & identify immediate needs. Resources continue to be distributed to survivors.
Members of the Seminole Tribe of Florida & residents of 17 Florida counties are now eligible for disaster assistance. Survivors can apply online at DisasterAssistance.gov, by calling 1-800-621-3362, or by using the FEMA App. Video relay service is supported.
If you are returning home, document damage to your home & belongings and file claims with insurance. Be aware that hazards related to Ian continue — stay out of floodwater when possible.
Stay safe when you return home! Be careful when cleaning up & know how to use a generator safely.
