Introducing: Bay Area Renegades, a new series where we spotlight a San Francisco tastemaker to learn how the city inspires them in all they do. ⁠ ⁠ Our first Renegade is one of our own – Jesse Caetano, Assistant Director of Food and Beverage at Four Seasons San Francisco. Jesse relocated to SF from Los Angeles to be closer to family and to follow his career calling in luxury hotel operations. ⁠ ⁠ While the two cities are vastly different, he’s brought a little of his LA flair to the way he provides fresh, memorable experiences to his programs. "Everyone wants to feel like a celebrity, even if it's only for a brief moment in time,” Jesse shares. “Working at Four Seasons, we pride ourselves on guest recognition and acknowledgment, and that's part of the elevated experience.⁠ ⁠ “San Francisco is known for its influential cocktail programs, but sometimes it can feel extensive and drawn out. I like to blend trendy Southern California "fan favorites" but give them a classic, old-school, and sophisticated San Francisco feel. The same can be said about my culinary journey. People love to experience classic cuisine, yet elevated and prepared in a way they have not yet experienced.”⁠ ⁠ When you visit San Francisco, it's hard to miss the vibrant energy found around every corner. "I love the melting pot collaborative vibe and energy that SF offers.
