“Wooden Wheel” a short film about my father Arthur Ward, shot back home in the Emerald Isle. Setting off to sea at seventeen, it’s all he knows. This man can tell you what time it is by looking at the tide. Twenty years ago, he suffered a traumatic accident when his leg was caught in an anchor out at sea. To this day it still lives with him both physically and mentally. This film explores trauma, but in a way he could bare to watch, something for him to be proud of himself and what he’s overcome. Thank you to everyone who made this happen, I’ll cherish this one forever.
