Today marks 7 months since moving to the desert 🏜 . This photo is from my first weekend here, at the time I had no idea what lay ahead of me. In truth Dubai was never part of any plan, things fell into place by falling out of place and the rest happened very quickly. . The last seven months have been full of highs and lows, no one talks about the difficulties of hard days when all you want is home comforts, the days spent crying because home feels so far away but those days pass and settling into your new life becomes much more of a happy place. . The last seven months have brought travel, amazing friends, operations and recoveries all with a backdrop of sweltering heat and overpriced alcohol, and I wouldn’t change any of it! .
