enjoying me trying to dance full out in my studio apartment that I call my box✨🤭 I went on a whim and took from the amazingly talented @alex_komulainen yesterday! I forgot how much I absolutely loved this style and how much of a release I feel while dancing in this style! I’m in a phase in my dance journey where mentally I am constantly working on reminding myself of why I do this and it’s because I love it and it is a passion of mine that I am lucky enough to call my job. What we don’t talk about often is what comes with choosing dance as a job rather than a hobby. As a professional dancer sometimes it can become draining dancing for others and always having to deliver 24/7. We are constantly trying to impress multiple choreographers with what they personally love in a dancer while also trying to maintain our own personal individuality in our artistry and personal morals. Have only been living in LA for the past 10 months and I have already learned so much. I can’t wait to see what else is in store for my journey.
