I wanted to personally thank each and everyone of you that has supported us throughout the years. Before we founded @globalempowermentmission in 2011, I sat on many boards and worked as a philanthropist from the private sector. I helped raise a lot of funds for many orgs, but I never really understood where or how it was being spent. I saw hundreds of millions of dollars being raised for key disasters, but I also saw that the people on the other end were never getting much of anything. I quickly learned that the dollar versus impact ration was severely off in this sector. For this reason, we founded GEM to revolutionize and reinvent systems that function more efficiently and fluidly. Our core mission is to have the most IMPACT. In the end, all that matters is what was actually accomplished and not what was raised. This year Global Empowerment Mission Bstrong responded to disasters around the world, all with the idea to get the most amount of aid to the most amount of people, in the shortest amount of time. Whether it was for Ukraine, Fort Myers, or beyond, the support you have given GEM has allowed for us to make a massive impact everywhere we respond. All of this work is possible due to your continued generosity. Everyday we are proving that we can have more impact with less cost to donors than most other orgs.
