After 6 years and two tenures, I have decided to step down from the @moncler board. It has been an incredible journey for Moncler – from early steps in digital to full blown global all channel Genius activations – the brand has not only caught up but leads in the luxury industry, carving out its rightful place among the most admired New Luxury brands right now. It has also been an incredibly fulfilling journey for me, my first board seat, all in Italian where I hope that I have been able to contribute in a small way to what Moncler is now. My thanks go first and foremost to Remo Ruffini for trusting me with the role, to the exceptional team at Moncler, Roberto Eggs, Luciano Santel, Gino Fisanotti, Cristina Gnugnoli, Andrea Bonante, Mina Piccinini and Paola Durante and many others, who run a well-oiled machine. And to my fellow board members, from whom I have learnt so much. Moncler has been family for all these years, and in fact very much part of my family. The children have grown up only knowing Moncler coats (lucky lucky kids and yikes...what a let down when they realize!) and knowing that Mama’s job is also Moncler. I look forward to seeing what comes next from this inventive, industry-leading organization – from sustainability to new media, technology, innovation and culture defining moments, I will be cheering from the side lines and wish new board members @mariasharapova Bettina Fetzer Jeanne Jackson and Moncler the successful continuation it deserves. “Today marks an important moment as one business cycle is coming to an end, and another begins.
