XenoFae What if Xenomorphs told fairy tales? The dress was made simply because I could not resist using this oil slick velvet scrap I had. The entire costume is just a cluster of fitting scrap bits into pattern pieces and seeing what it would do. I bought the trims and a bit of remnant fabric to fluff out the back, but otherwise it’s all things I had on hand. I designed the wings drawing inspiration from two of my favorite artists, @nusi_quero and H.R. Geiger. I tried to fit that into a butterfly esk shape, something that was still reminiscent of classic fairy wings.
