So pay absolute attention! The sketch: ⭐️Make sure the bow it’s PERFECT. ⭐️Never beyond the border or over and behind the natural volume ⭐️Everyone is asymmetrical, it’s what makes us beautiful, this can only be balanced ⭐️Check your bow in photos, sitting and standing and with facial expressions. The outline: ⭐️Pinch the area! I use my thumb & pointer, it’s what works for me. ⭐️Using the Pinch, roll the thumb to the pointer allowing the needle to intersect with the sketch line perpendicular but still at 90. More stability & you will be able to see the needle ⭐️Work with just the tip or the back row of the mag in slow short movement back and forth then return with longer blending movements, keeping the needle at the same depth with the same gentle contact to the surface. ⭐️Check your work! The shading: ⭐️If the borders present with desaturated color, bring this area up to saturation prior to increasing the saturation elsewhere, use small tight circles 😉 ⭐️Stretch flat & down for the area near the outline & then flip up & push down for a flat surface that has the volume of the lip under & exposes the whereabouts of the water line ⭐️ Base your needle choice on lip tissue & not just cause you saw someone use it. Needles are like paint brushes they have purpose ⭐️Shading movements are kinda dependent on the needle selected, so let’s just say keep them slow and keep the needle in contact with the surface at all times to reduce trauma and get even saturation: pendulum, ovals, circles The practice: ⭐️Draw them over and over, you cant see the details if you don’t look for them ⭐️Sketch & Pinch & Stretch everyone you know ⭐️Practice lining at a perpendicular, I like gel blocks or mangos for this Hope this helps!
