Michter’s 2022 Legacy Series releases: Bomberger’s Declaration and Shenk’s Homestead Starting off with the Bomberger’s Declaration which is bottled at 108 proof and aged in Chinquapin oak. The oak was air dried for three years, toasted, and charred giving the whiskey a layered and complexed profile. Nose: Brown Sugar & Black Cherry Palate: English Toffee & Macerated Berries Finish: Oak & Citrus As always, these bottles are always a winner for me. Can’t wait to try the Shenk’s next. Cheers!
