Bacon fat injected brisket This was so killer and I would highly recommend trying it! Recipe • I did this with a prime grade brisket from Costco • Trim your brisket and then inject it with 8oz of leftover bacon fat. I saved this in a mason jar and refrigerated it until I had enough • Season brisket with a 50/50 blend of kosher salt and pepper • Smoked at 200F for 6 hours overnight which put me at 135F internal temp • Increase heat to 250F for another 3 hours until IT reaches 165F - spritz every hour with water • Wrap in butcher paper and place back on the smoker for another 3 hours until the IT reaches about 203F, but more importantly probe tender • Rest for 3 hours in a cooler then slice 🌡 @meatermade MEATER Plus • . #brisket #recipe #recipes #cooking #smokedmeat #delicious #foodie #MEATER
