Whenever anyone asks what my dream role is, I usually say: I want to play a superhero. Well, last year, I got a chance to dip my toes in that pool (Koi Boi reference very intentional) and lend my voice to a little project called Squirrel Girl: The Unbeatable Radio Show. I’m so incredibly excited & proud to have been part of this. My first VO job. On a @marvel podcast. Playing an Asian and trans superhero. I learned so much from everyone involved. Listening back, even just in the first episode, I can hear myself growing more comfortable and confident in this learning curve. My heart is just so full. Gio Sardelli is a wonderful director and so patiently guided me through this unforgettable process. @mintmilana, @crystallucasperry, @activepoet, Tina Benko, and Peter Herman (correction from Brian, sorry Peter!!)— I’m in awe of your immense talents and so grateful to have learned from you all. @qwantz, thank you for trusting me to voice Koi Boi and for creating this character, along with Erica Henderson.
