Everyone has been sending me that list of “sandwiches to eat after each LA hike” or something asking if I can do the sandwich tour/asking if I’ve seen it. Look, I’ve looked at it. Far as I’m concerned, the best place for a real hike in LA is Malibu and the only option for a post-Malibu hike sandwich, or generally the only place you should be eating in Malibu, is @broadstreetoysterco. The lobster roll is out of everyone’s league and as much hype as Broad Street gets (not to mention the constant line down the block), I still think it’s underrated considering how absolutely unbelievable the food here is. I don’t even know what to focus on more - the lobster roll, the mushroom roll, this grilled cheese, or the (not pictured) burger. I’m like a kid in my dream candy store fumbling my phone trying to figure out how to describe this spread. 10/10 across the board and you know I’m right if you’ve been here. Kiss.
